O Siyo.   A little about me:

I was born in NE Oklahoma to the best parents that God could have chosen for me.   I'm the youngest of four, and very proud of the Cherokee Indian heritage that I have.  God has also blessed me with a loving husband, Chris, and we have been married for 37 years.   Together we have two adult children; Rick and Amanda. Our home is in L A County in Southern California.

I was introduced to gourds in 2001 by a dear friend who gave me some that he had grown and said, 'try it and see what you can come up with'.  Once I started, I haven't been able to stop.   Thank you Arbee.

Hubby Chris is a huge part of my gourd art because he helps with the design and color ideas.   He has an 'eye' for color and gives me alot of ideas and support.   He sets up my art show spaces and is a great help with customers who have questions about my gourd art.

In March of 2006, I was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer.   For me, creating has been my therapy.   All of my artwork is one of a kind, and there are no two items exactly alike.  If you see anything that you like, please feel free to email me and together we can work on a great piece of gourd art for you.

Everything that you see on this website is available for purchase with the exception, of course, those items that have been SOLD. 

If you see something that you like that has been SOLD, I can create something similar if you so desire.   Just let me know what you like and what you are interested in.  Each of my gourds are one of a kind, signed and dated on the bottom.
